Longhi

Longhi

Longhi is a brand with a relatively short but interesting history. Established in the late 1940s in northern Italy, it is famous all over the world for its beautiful furniture – especially comfortable and durable sofas – continuing the best traditions of Italian craftsmanship. Longhi focuses on customization – it is able to personalize virtually any piece of furniture to meet the customer’s needs. Known and respected by world-class architects, Longhi always actively seeks new paths, providing its clients with exclusive and luxurious products that allow ordinary interiors to be transformed into works of art tailored to their owners.

Longhi: the discreet charm of handcrafted production

Longhi is based in northern Italy and specifically in the city of Meda, located north of Milan. It is worth knowing that the entire region is famous for the production of beautiful furniture, designed and made by the best Italian craftsmen. Anyway, all of Italy is known for its craftsmanship at a very high level, especially when it comes to processing materials such as leather, marble, glass and wood. These skills have contributed to the global success of Made in Italy furniture and its unflagging popularity among people who value luxury and functionality.
The first Longhi factory was established in the late 1940’s. Luxurious furniture for everyday use is created here by the second generation of carpentry masters. Initially, Longhi mainly produced wooden tables. Today, the company’s offer includes virtually every type of furniture, designed by top designers and made with the greatest attention to every detail – in this context, it is worth recalling the absolutely unique collection of Aluminum Chic doors. Longhi also produces furniture components for other well-known brands, such as sofa bases for Minotti.

Diverse offer

The variety of the offer is one of the features that distinguish Longhi from the competition. Tables, chairs, beds, shelves, lamps, carpets, doors, patio furniture – whatever the client needs, Longhi has it. Longhi products are handmade and often also made to measure, according to the customer’s wishes. Thanks to this, virtually any set of furniture can be perfectly matched with the interior. This freedom of choice and the possibility of artistic synchronization are synonymous with luxury for Longhi.
The most famous piece of Longhi furniture is the Eldam chair designed by Joe Colombo in 1963. The outer skeleton is made of fiberglass, and the seat is upholstered in leather. When it first appeared on the market, it was considered very futuristic. Years later, the project continues to defend itself, both in terms of design, elegance and fine workmanship.

Not for every budget

Top design, exclusive materials, excellent craftsmanship and the Made in Italy sign mean that only very few can afford to buy Longhi products. This furniture creates truly luxurious interiors with an exclusive and unique character. This is a quality that only the richest can have, but one thing is certain: they get the best in the world of luxury furniture.
